Barry Ponds Weekend Access.
Due to a change in site Security at Barry Ponds, from 1st September 2008, ALL Club members will be required to book in at the Main Enrance Security lodge, Cardiff road, on weekends. The new entrance gate will also be locked with a Club Lock, therefore any members who wish to fish Barry Ponds will be required to be in possesion of a club Key. These measures are at the request of Dow Corning and have not been imposed by the club.

Angling Coaches Wanted.
The Club is looking for a few more Members who would be willing to become Junior\Disabled Angling Coaches. There is a course available in September and as places are limited. we would appreciate anyone wishing to do the course letting us know by mid August. Read More >>>

Friday mornings’ weather started with a deluge of rain, warm rain I’ll add, but a deluge nonetheless. Now I’m not a religious man but I swear we were blessed, as the competitors arrived so the sun came blazing through and the skies cleared. It couldn’t get better, could it?
